IMAX

We went and saw the latest Harry Potter in an IMAX theater in

3-D. It rocked!!! The 3-D glasses were pretty awesome. :)

Weekend At The Lake

The picture below just gives you a glimpse of all the boats that were attached to ours while watching the boat races at the Lake of the Ozarks. We started out with 6 boats all anchored down and attached together and within a couple of hours we counted more than 50 boats to our left and more than 50 boats to our right. It was crazy!!!

I Gave Up

Like many of you know I hate ironing. After 6 years of marriage I finally gave up. I can never get all the wrinkles out of Ben's dress shirts and don't get me started on his slacks. I am getting frustrated just thinking about it. Yesterday I decided that I am done trying-(happiest day). I went to the dry cleaners for the first time, dropped off all of Ben's dress shirts and slacks, then walked away with a smile on my face. Sorry to all you girls who enjoy ironing your mans clothes, but its not for me. I am loving the dry cleaners!!!! :)

Farewell

Friday August 7th, 2009 was a day of both happiness and sadness. Half of the 8 guys in Ben's Orthodontic program graduated which was sad, but on the other hand Ben is now a 2nd year Orthodontic resident which means he has 1 year left of school. Yes!!!!!! I am so happy.

Oklahoma Joes

Oklahoma Joes is a barbeque restaurant located in a gas station in Kansas City. Yes, I said a gas station. It is the best BBQ I have ever had. We love eating there. Saturday we had to wait 30 minutes in line just to reach the front doors, then 30 more minutes in line until we reached the counter inside to order. It was worth the wait!!! Come to find out in Men's Health - Oklahoma Joes was said to be 1 of the 13 places in the world you have to eat at before you die and said to be the best BBQ in the world.
